
Angelia Arellano, CADC II
With 18 years of behavioral health experience, Angelia has worked in a wide array of positions and settings. Her experience working as a behavioral health case manager, program manager and admissions director have afforded her valuable insight into daily treatment procedures and protocols. Angelia was eventually promoted to administrative positions and served as Utilization Director of a large facility in Southern Califonia. Her first-hand experience working with individuals struggling with addiction, mental-health, trauma, fuels her passion for patient advocacy. Angelia’s knowledge regarding facility compliance, medical necessity and insurance regulation, provides a distinct advantage as it relates to Utilization Review and maximizing insurance collections.
Angelia is a CADC and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. She feels strongly that protecting ethical treatment centers is necessary for the future of behavioral health and the clients they aim to serve. Angelia is known for her aggressive, yet professional, approach to utilization review and will always maintain the position that the client is our number one priority.
